Apple has published dedicated repair manuals and technical guides for independent technicians and consumers looking to fix individual components, according to 9to5Mac. The company also issued support documentation addressing hardware troubleshooting, software settings for cases, Touch ID features, and hinge mechanisms. [3][4]
In a post on the WebKit blog, Apple's Jen Simmons stated that the developer team is working on ways for websites to better utilize the outer screen of the device in Safari 27.1, 9to5Mac reported. The update aims to address display issues caused by right-aligned browser controls occupying space on the narrow screen. [2]
The launch coincides with broader market activity for the company. 9to5Mac reported that Apple shares reached new trading highs on launch day, making it the world's most valuable company ahead of Nvidia. [6]
