Lucid Motors electric vehicle production falls 54 percent in third quarter

Lucid Motors produced 2,954 electric vehicles in the third quarter of 2026, representing a 54 percent decline from the same period a year earlier, TechCrunch and Pluang reported. According to TechCrunch, the automaker delivered 3,806 vehicles during the quarter. This delivery figure remained roughly flat compared to the second quarter of 2026, but fell by approximately 200 vehicles compared to the third quarter of 2025. [1][3]

The drop in manufacturing marks the third consecutive quarter in which production has decreased for the company, TechCrunch reported. Output during the third quarter fell to its lowest level since the first quarter of 2025, which followed the start of production for the Lucid Gravity SUV.
