Instagram is offering YouTube creators cash deals to post videos using its new long-form horizontal format, Tubefilter and BigGo Finance both reported. The Meta-owned platform has approached select YouTubers with offers starting at a floor price of $50,000. Other creators have received six-figure offers ranging up to $500,000, according to Business Insider as cited by Tubefilter. [1][2]
It remains unclear how Instagram will disburse the funds to creators. Tubefilter reported that the payments could be structured per video, per month, or as a one-time flat compensation. The deals may also include performance bonuses or future advertising revenue sharing arrangements. [1]
The platform is owned by Meta, which reported over three billion monthly active users in September 2025 and two billion daily active users in July 2026. As FTMQ Creators reported earlier, Instagram has been testing a long-form widescreen video feature called Features with select creators in the United States. The format allows uploads up to 90 minutes long, moving the platform into direct competition with YouTube. [3][5][6][7]
Instagram head Adam Mosseri previously confirmed that the platform is exploring monetization options for long-form creators. As FTMQ Creators reported earlier, Instagram was initially not sharing advertising revenue on the test videos during the trial period. [6][7]
