LinkedIn has launched Advice Sessions, a new product allowing creators to monetize consulting services directly on the platform, Tubefilter reported. The professional networking service unveiled the tool on October 15 as part of a broader set of updates. Creators can use the feature to schedule and host paid consultation appointments inside the mobile application. [1]
The consultation product expands LinkedIn's existing suite of creator monetization options. According to Tubefilter, the platform also operates the BrandLink program, which offers revenue sharing opportunities by connecting creators with advertisers. [1]
Microsoft acquired LinkedIn in June 2016 for 26.2 billion dollars in an all-cash transaction at 196 dollars per share. The platform reached 1.2 billion members by late 2025 and reported 17.8 billion dollars in annual revenue for fiscal year 2025. In the fiscal quarter ending December 31, 2025, LinkedIn revenue grew 11 percent to 5.08 billion dollars. [3]
The new Advice Sessions feature targets professional influencers looking to convert platform reach into direct consulting revenue. The company has not yet detailed specific processing fees or percentage splits for the new booking tool. [1]
