Twitch recorded 4.51 billion hours watched in the third quarter of 2026, marking a 4 percent increase from the second quarter, PPC Land reported. Data from Streams Charts indicates this performance was the strongest result for the livestreaming platform since the second quarter of 2025. Competitor Kick grew by 30.7 percent over the same three month period. [1]

Amazon published its third quarter earnings release and its quarterly report on Form 10-Q on October 29, 2026, PPC Land reported. Neither document mentions Twitch a single time. The omission leaves advertisers, creators, and agencies without official platform metrics in Amazon's public regulatory filings. [1]

Advertisers and agencies must rely on conflicting third party and promotional metrics to evaluate the platform, PPC Land reported. Streams Charts attributes a 14.2 percent share to Twitch, whereas Amazon Ads quotes a 60 percent share figure to advertisers. [1]

Amazon acquired Twitch in August 2014 for 970 million dollars, integrating it as a subsidiary. Twitch is operated by Twitch Interactive, a subsidiary of Amazon Entertainment, which is a division of Amazon. [3][5]
