Mastercard has entered into a strategic partnership with Beast Industries, the company founded by YouTuber MrBeast, VARIndia and WeRSM both reported. The collaboration aims to deepen the payment processor's role within the expanding creator economy by connecting financial services with digital commerce. [1][2]

The agreement focuses on serving content creators who operate as independent businesses managing merchandise, brand deals, sponsorships, and multiple payment sources, VARIndia reported. As FTMQ Creators reported earlier, the partnership includes plans for co-branded card programs, financial management tools, educational resources, and payment integrations for creators. [1][10]

Mastercard is a publicly traded payment card services company based in Purchase, New York, that processes transactions between merchant banks and card issuers. The creator economy allows media producers to distribute content directly through online networks, earning revenue through advertising, subscriptions, merchandise sales, and sponsorships. [8][9]

In related platform moves, Instagram announced a longform video option called Features, according to reports from The Wrap and Yahoo News Singapore. The feature permits select creators in the United States to upload videos up to 90 minutes long, directly targeting living room viewing formats where YouTube accounted for 15.8 percent of United States television viewing in August.
